We have experienced a shift within ourselves, and have begun to rethink what the church is and how we are to interact with our community. With a sense of inner discontent, we were forced to look beyond our comfort, presumptions and self-imposed church boundaries. Our hearts have been turned toward others, people outside of the church culture that we found so comfortable and satisfying. We have begun to see through the walls that not only fortify church culture, but also push others out, and away from God.

We want to be a welcoming community that does not ask for anything before we accept others. We want people to know that they belong. No strings attached. No prerequisites. As a community, we want to wrestle with the depth and fullness of Scripture and understand how it applies to our lives right now. We desire to be a genuine group of people who help each other live in the way of Jesus. We believe that in relationship with Jesus, we can find reconciliation and restoration with our Creator. We want to create a church that we would want to invite our friends to, a place that is inviting and relational. By creating an environment that is safe, people can ask questions and have an honest conversation. Encouraging corporate worship, we can experience the power of coming together in a spirit of unity.
